company in the world.About the teamThe Chief of Staff (CoS) team
for the CTO is a group of professionals who support the CTO in
executing the strategic vision and goals of the company. The team
works closely with the CTO to manage the daily operations,
communications, and projects of the technology department. The team
also acts as a liaison between the CTO and other stakeholders, such
as the executive team, the board of directors, the customers, and
the employees.The CoS team has several key functions, such as:
- Planning and facilitating the CTO's agenda, meetings, and
events
- Preparing and reviewing the CTO's reports, presentations, and
proposals
- Coordinating and tracking the progress and outcomes of the
CTO's initiatives and priorities
- Researching and analyzing the industry trends, best practices,
and opportunities for innovation
- Providing feedback and guidance to the CTO and the technology
team on various issues and challenges
- Building and maintaining relationships with internal and
external partners and stakeholdersAbout the roleThe internal
organization communications specialist is responsible for
developing and implementing effective communication strategies that
enhance the organization's internal culture, values, and goals. The
specialist will work closely with the Office of the CTO senior
leadership, human resources, and other departments to create and
deliver engaging and informative messages to the organization's
employees and stakeholders.What you will be doing
- Plan, write, edit, and distribute internal communications
materials, such as newsletters, intranet articles, memos,
announcements, presentations, reports, and surveys.
- Collaborate with the senior leadership, human resources, and
other departments to ensure alignment and consistency of internal
communications with the CTO organization's vision, mission, values,
and strategic objectives.
- Create fresh and engaging messaging and recommend optimal
channels and cadence.
- Conceptualize, write, and edit compelling content to engage and
educate employees, increasing their understanding of Worldpay
- Ensure execution of communications strategy includes modern,
mixed media elements such as video, podcasts, infographics, social
channels as well as traditional written communications.
- Monitor and measure the effectiveness and impact of internal
communications initiatives and provide feedback and recommendations
for improvement.
- Research and identify best practices and emerging trends in
internal communications and propose innovative and creative
solutions to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.
- Manage and update the organization's intranet and other
internal communication channels and platforms.
- Organize and coordinate internal events, such as town halls,
webinars, workshops, and recognition programs.
- Provide guidance and support to other staff members on internal
communications matters and ensure adherence to the organization's
brand identity and style guidelines.
- Ensure content meets established Worldpay corporate standards
and guidelines before publication.
- Identify and consistently measure programs and deliverables
against key performance metrics (KPIs)What you bring:
- Bachelor's Degree in related field (journalism, public
relations, marketing, communications, business communication) with
at least seven years prior experience
- Financial services industry knowledge and/or large tech company
experience is preferred
- A master of effective copy with a good sense of design
- Superior written and verbal communication and editing skills
and knowledge of AP Style
- Relationship builder with proven ability to work with senior
business leaders and executives
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team
environment and across all organizational levels where flexibility,
collaboration and adaptability is important
- Ability to successfully overcome obstacles
