Job Description:

Duties: Supports the planning, design, development, and implementation of

multiple initiatives for enterprise applications. Develops conceptual

application designs that comply with technical architecture standards.

Adheres to and promotes principles of Agile methodologies, Continuous

Integration/Delivery, MVP, and DevOps.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develops original and creative technical solutions to on-going

development efforts.

• Designs applications or subsystems on major projects and for/in

multiple platforms.

• Develops applications for multiple projects supporting several

divisional initiatives.

• Supports and performs all phases of testing leading to

implementation.

• Assists in the planning and conducting of user acceptance testing.

• Develops comprehensive documentation for multiple applications

supporting several corporate initiatives.

• Responsible for post-installation testing of any problems.

• Establishes project plans for projects of moderate scope.

• Works on complex assignments and multiple phases of a project.

• Performs independent and complex technical and functional analysis

for multiple projects supporting several initiatives.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in

Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems,

Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3) years of

experience in the job offered or three (3) years of experience developing

enterprise applications within a distributed environment; or,

alternatively, Master’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in

Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems,

Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and one (1) year of

experience in the job offered or one (1) year of experience developing

enterprise applications within a distributed environment. Candidate must

also possess: Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) developing enterprise financial

services applications in distributed environments using J2EE, Spring, and

ORM frameworks (Hibernate); and developing Web services (producers and

consumers) using JAX-WS, SOAP, REST, XML, JSON, and WSDL, according to

Agile methodologies; DE developing enterprise client server applications,

including Bash shell scripting, database design and development within an

Oracle environment; and developing Web-based applications using HTML, CSS3,

Bootstrap, JavaScript, Ajax, JSP, JQuery, and CSS; DE configuring

continuous build and integration flows using GIT, Jenkins, Maven, and Nexus

in a UNIX environment (Solaris/Linux); and scripting automated application

deployment flows; DE in database development and modeling according to

Agile methodologies within a large database environment using Cassandra,

including writing, maintaining, and debugging queries; and creating

configurations for Cassandra database use cases.
