• Completes the daily operation process, accounting for all revenue and compiling financial reports to distribute to management.

  • Processes Cashier Variance Investigation report daily for review by loss prevention teams.
  • Assists in the entry and calculation of concessionaire payments.
  • Reviews and takes necessary action on credit card chargebacks issued to the park.
  • Assists in the reconciliation of deferred revenue accounts and other accounts as requested.
  • Participates in planning, organizing and implementing procedures and policies.
  • Maintains clear lines of communication between accounting staff, management and other departments to ensure revenue has been recorded accurately with no discrepancies.
  • Separates and processes incoming mail for the Finance Division.
  • Maintains high degree of confidentiality of all paperwork and information; Communicates effectively while using the utmost discretion.
  • Meets scheduling availability requirements, including weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs.
  • Understands the process of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Cash Flow systems as requested.
  • Meets Cedar Fair's attendance requirements as outlined in Cedar Fair's attendance policies.
  • Adheres to Cedar Fair's Rules of Conduct including specific costuming and grooming standards as outlined in Employee Guidelines and other park/division specific policies and procedures.
  • Provides guest service according to Cedar Fair standards when serving the guest or working with subordinates, including initiating guest interactions, answering questions and giving directions.
  • Maintains cleanliness and safety in assigned work area and performs all duties in compliance with Cedar Fair Safety Guidelines and Requirements and reports all unsafe or unusual conditions to supervisor.

  • Contribute to our exceptional track record for safetyWere looking for:
    • Some college required with a focus on accounting or business.
    • Ability to demonstrate proficiency in the use of computers, specifically Microsoft Office.
    • Ability to work weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs.
    • Must be at least 18 years of age.
    • 6 months to 1 year related experience in an accounting role preferred.
    • Must possess a valid state/provincial driver's license.
    • Ability to pass a consumer credit check.
    • Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test. Per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law.
    • Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state or provincial law.
