Job Description:

Headquartered in Evendale, Plank & Hide is a rapidly expanding luxury brand in the home furnishings marketplace, offering uniquely authentic outdoor casual/ patio furniture and indoor game room products, such as pool tables, shuffleboards, bars, and game tables. -We are searching for a full-time Staff Accountant. The Staff Accountant will prepare and maintain financial records -to track assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liabilities, and other related financial activities. -Salary is commensurate to experience. -Responsibilities:

• Maintaining documentation and entry of accounts payable and customer invoicing.
• Cash application and collections.
• Performing monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Maintaining financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts.
• Preparing journal entries, analyses, and account reconciliations and assisting with monthly close processes.
• Meeting processing and reporting deadlines.
• Responding to information requests, both internal and external.
• Assisting the finance and ops manager as needed. -Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum 2+ years of staff accounting experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience with Sage 100 ERP
  • Strong numeracy and analytical skills.
  • Good problem-solving and time management skills.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Working knowledge of GAAP.
