Job Description:

Data Entry Associates serve our internal customers by ensuring accuracy and reliability of equipment information data stored in various company databases. Essential Functions Statement(s) --- Manages and maintains all equipment information (e.g. Equipment Move Orders (EMOs), asset and serial numbers, locks, equipment write offs, transfers, new equipment set up and file maintenance) within the VMMS and any other systems according to established company standards; enters sales equipment employee's hours worked into database; and ensures functionality and reliability of database information. --- Maintains and updates equipment delivery and pick-up schedule and logs; provides employees and customers with information and status updates about delivery and pick-up of equipment; researches and corrects Service Technician exceptions in VMMS. --- Communicates with other employees regarding requests for information; supervisor and management team regarding and problems or issues. --- Adheres to all company policies, standards and procedures (e.g. OSHA and safety requirements, Federal/State/Local Laws). --- Completes time off requests, weekly and monthly end reports and other required paperwork according to established standards. --- Maintains confidentiality of financial information, pricing, customer information, asset and serial numbers, equipment cost, and other sensitive and confidential information. --- Works assigned schedule, exhibits regular and predictable attendance and works overtime as needed to meet workload demands. Performs other related duties as required. --- Provides assistance to managers, customers, and other employees regarding procedures, customer accounts, delivery schedules, asset tags, paperwork, and database technical support. --- Files and prepares completed EMOs and other paperwork for scanning. --- Creates, maintains and distributes monthly data reports to the sales equipment team and other employees to ensure all data in systems are accurate. SKILLS & ABILITIES Education: High school degree, G.E.D., or equivalent degree; Associate"s Degree in Business Administration or related field is strongly preferred. Experience: 1-3 years of database management experience in a distribution environment. Computer Skills: Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Access. Other Requirements: Knowledge of: beverage industry; beverage equipment practices and policies; Microsoft Office Suite; VMMS; database management. Skill in: internal customer service; typing; 10-key entry. Ability to: work quickly, efficiently and independently in a fast-paced environment with little supervision; be detail-oriented; meet deadlines in a pressured situation; multi-task; communicate effectively with other employees and develop good working relationships; adapt to change; operate a computer, copier, fax machine; problem solve; read and write.
