Job Description:

Hyde Park CPA firm is seeking reliable individual that believes that the clients come first. You must have great customer service, telephone, and administrative skills in dealing with a variety of people and backgrounds. Be able to effectively multi-task, as there are plenty of interruptions, and you must switch back and forth between tasks regularly. Successful candidates will likely be asked back in future tax seasons based on job performance.Job Tasks:

• Manage income calls, e-mail, visitors.
• Route or resolve information requests and various other tasks;
• Sort mail, process outgoing mail and FedEx;
• Scanning documents, as well as maintain electronic and physical files;
• Assist as needed with projects within the firm;
• Coordinate document retrieval from clients;
  • Receive and process check, cash, & credit card payments;
  • Coordinate space and office organization;
    • Manage supplies order lists and equipment maintenanceQualifications:
      • Proficiency in Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook and Internet skills;
      • Experience with Thompson Reuters Professional Suite (UltraTax, Practice CS), a plus but not required.
      • Have excellent attention to detail and high-level accuracy with documents;
      • Concerned with doing things the right way the first time;
      • Flexible in daily routine; able to prioritize and manage shifting responsibilities;
      • Deadline driven and extremely organized;
      • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills; can empathize and build relationships with a variety of personalities;
      • Able to make quick and effective decisions, solve problems, as well as maintain confidentiality;
      • Willing to work overtime and Saturday mornings as needed, February through AprilCompensation:
        • $15-18/hr, depending on experienceJob Types: Full-time, TemporaryPay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hourSchedule:
          • 8 hour shift
          • Monday to Friday
          • Overtime
          • Weekend availabilityEducation:
            • High school or equivalent (Preferred)Experience:
