Marketing Analytics Specialist

General Summary

Are you a marketing analyst who loves bringing data to life? General Electric Credit Union (GECU) is looking for a Marketing Analytics Specialist to join our Marketing team! As a successful Marketing Analytics Specialist, you will gain a sense of achievement tracking and analyzing data, reporting on performance metrics, and deriving insights that can improve outcomes for GECU, the third largest local financial institution in Greater Cincinnati.



In this role, you will develop insights to guide marketing and business strategies, including: product penetration and share of market; marketing campaigns; digital marketing results; member surveys; and branch location evaluations and expansion opportunities. Upon eligibility, this position is hybrid remote, offering the ability to work in our newly-renovated headquarters, with the flexibility of working from home.



Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities:


Extract, evaluate, and interpret data from various sources.
Ability to use data and consumer-driven insights to create a story that helps define consumer behaviors to deliver a more personalized marketing approach.
Communicate findings through written summaries and using charts, graphs, or other visual means on KPIs.
Conduct regular reporting and analysis of marketing campaign metrics and interpret results.




Requirements:


Models the GECU core values (Honesty, Accountability, Teamwork, Solutions-Focused). Communicates and instills our mission, vision, common purpose, and goals through all efforts.
Bachelor's degree in Analytics/Statistics, Marketing, or related field.
2+ years of data analytics experience required, including working with various marketing and business intelligence technologies (e.g. Google Analytics, Power BI, MCIF, etc.)
Experienced with creating reports and dashboards and measuring email, digital, and direct mail campaign performance.
Excellent problem-solving, critical-thinking, analytical, and numerical skills.
Detail oriented, organized, able to multitask and adjust priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Excel power user (e.g., VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, trend and outlier visualizations).
