Description

with our vehicles and enable fleet operators to optimize energy and

movement of people and goods more efficient and less harmful to the
environment.
Additional Job Responsibilities
The UAS Assembly Technician is responsible for building small
unmanned aerial systems and its subsystems. This is detail work;
precise, exacting, and demanding. The Assembly Technician will
assist the pilots and engineers. He/she will build the aircraft,
maintain our equipment and work with the flight test crew preparing
for field operations.
Additional Responsibilities Include:
* Help forecast parts requirements for smooth production flow.
* Checks the quality of finished products and ensures quality goals
are met.
* Collaborates with others from a variety of disciplines to find
innovative solutions to the assembly and operational challenges we
face.
We need someone to help assemble and develop our small Unmanned
Aerial Systems.
We need someone who can work well with a team in a high-pressure,
high-visibility role; and someone who wants to make a
difference.
Requirements
* 3+ years of previous mechanical and electrical assembly
experience.
* Has experience or a keen interest, in unmanned aerial vehicles
and aerospace.
* Works well with limited supervision.
* Positive work ethics.
* Motivated to excel in any operating environment.
* Willing to go above and beyond assigned duties.
* Is a proactive team player. (Very orientated in working well with
others)
* Effective at solving problems.
* Proficient with hand tools and or small electric or battery
powered tools.
* Good manual dexterity.
* Strong communication skills.
* Computer Literate.
* Familiar with cloud-based systems.
* Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
* Familiar with Outlook emailing.
* Can visually identify depth, dimension, and color.
* Familiar with maintenance manuals, assembly manuals and
illustrated parts catalogs.
* Proficient with precision measuring devices (Calipers,
Micrometers).
* Familiar with torquing devices (Screw Drivers, Torque
wrenches).
* Proficient with operating soldering machines.
* Proficient with soldering of small electronic components, micro
wires and wiring onto circuit boards and installing of micro
connectors.
* Proficient with reading and interpretation of engineering
drawings, electrical and mechanical designs, and diagrams.
* Familiar with Bill of Material (BOM) and its use.
* Likes working in a fast-paced innovative technical
environment.
* Positive attitude toward all tasks assigned and seeing them
through to completion.
