Job Description Job Description Job Title: CNC Machinist / CNC Programmer Salary: Based on Experienced Schedule: Monday–Friday, 1st shift (occasional overtime may be required) Job Summary: As a CNC Machinist, you will program, set up, and operate CNC mills and lathes to produce precision parts according to engineering specifications. You will work with G-code , Mastercam , Fusion 360 , and a variety of manual and automated machines, including Haas CNC and ProtoTRAK lathes . Key Responsibilities: Program CNC mills and lathes using G-code and CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360) Set up and operate 3-axis CNC mills , CNC lathes , and manual ProtoTRAK lathes Read and interpret engineering drawings , blueprints , and GD&T specifications Perform tool changes , machine offsets , and adjustments as needed Conduct in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments Maintain equipment and perform routine preventative maintenance Troubleshoot machining issues to ensure high quality and optimal productivity Collaborate with engineering and quality control teams to improve machining processes and reduce material waste Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent ( technical certification in CNC machining preferred ) 2 years of experience as a CNC operator or CNC programmer Strong understanding of G-code programming , blueprint reading , and technical drawings Experience with Haas CNC machines , ProtoTRAK lathes , and 3-axis CNC systems Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a hands-on production environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality parts Benefits: Paid benefits after 90 days You should be proficient in: Troubleshooting Skills CNC Programming G-Code M-Code CNC Machine Setup & Changeover Machine Setups for Production Runs Machines & technologies you'll use: Manual Lathe CNC Lathe (2-4 axis) (Mazak, Haas, Fuji, Hyundai - Wia, Okuma) CAD Software (AutoCAD, Solidworks) CAM Software (Mastercam, Autodesk Fusion 360) CNC Lathe (5 axis) (Okuma, Mazak, Samsung) Vertical Lathe
