Hi-Tek Manufacturing is searching for experienced 2nd shift CNC Grind Operators who wish to advance his or her career in advanced manufacturing technology by executing a higher level of workmanship. Hi-Tek offers a clean, climate-controlled environment and we believe in quality and safety above all else. 1st shift 7:00am-3:30pm Mon-Fri OT may be required as needed. 2nd shift 3:30pm-12:00am Mon-Fri OT may be required as needed. $20- $30 Per Hr Plus a 15% Shift Differential for 2nd Shift Hi-Tek is a Drug-Free Workplace and conducts pre-employment drug and background screening and random drug screening. Essential Duties and Tasks: CBN (cubic boron nitrate) plated wheel grinding radial. Follow all Hi-Tek policies and procedures, including the use of proper PPE. Analyze and interpret Op sheets, blueprints, mechanical drawings, and travelers to produce products that meet or exceed customer specifications. Verifies conformance of finished workpiece to customer specifications, using precision measuring tools and equipment as necessary. Maintain working knowledge of CNC principles, including G and M codes. Maintain working knowledge of rotary/linear axes. Selects, aligns, and secures fixtures, grinding wheels, and workpieces on machines as necessary to machine parts as required. Analyze, interpret CMM reports, and properly offset machine dimensions to meet customer specifications. Perform Deburr operations to within specified tolerances. Operate overhead crane when necessary. Report proper labor hours in the ERP system. Maintains a safe and clean work environment by performing daily housekeeping duties. Capable of running multiple machines, when assigned. Demonstrates the ability to lift 25 pounds occasionally. Always take ownership and be accountable for your actions. Good and reliable attendance and a positive attitude are a must. Physical Conditions: Lift, push and/or pull 35 pounds. Stand at least 95% of the scheduled shift. Routinely perform reaching, twisting, bending, and grasping in order to move and set tools, equipment and material. Perform under AS9100 standards. Qualifications, Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED required. Duty related experience or/or including milling or lathe experience required - Min 1 yr. Ability to perform basic math functions. Troubleshooting/problem-solving skills Must be a United States Citizen, or a US Permanent Resident This job description is a tool to be followed.
