Job Description:
SNC's Military Fellowship Program partners with programs such as
SkillBridge and Hiring Our Heroes to provide fellowship
opportunities to service members transitioning to the civilian
workforce. These fellowships include up to six months of on-the-job
industry training for eligible service members. During this time,
participants gain valuable work experience in the civilian sector
and build professional networks as they prepare for their
transition to full-time civilian work. NOTE: You must be currently
serving on active duty to be eligible for this fellowship program.
This program is not for veterans who have already separated from
the military. As a Senior Environmental Qualification Engineer, you
will assist with planning, executing, and monitoring equipment
environmental qualification testing in support of civil and
military environmental certification requirements. You will develop
and implement the strategy for multiple programs, including
coordinating activities throughout the product lifecycle from
initiation through delivery and interfacing with external customers
or field-based employees. You'll also review, manage, proactively
challenge, and control status of project programs and budgets,
manage schedules and prepare status reports, and lead teams in
achieving the goals of the program including issue identification,
resolution and contingency planning. The ISR (Intelligence,
Surveillance & Reconnaissance), Aviation, and Security (IAS)
business area is a leader in ISR and aviation, it is a leading

Must Have: Currently serving as active duty military and be
eligible to participate in the DoD SkillBridge program Bachelor's
of Science degree in a related field of study Typically, 12 years
of progressive technical experience Expert knowledge of engineering
principles and practice Experience working in multi-disciplinary
design and development team Comprehensive understanding of
requirements management, system design, integration Qualifications
We Prefer: Typically 6-8 years of relevant leadership and/or
project management experience Experience leading a
multi-disciplinary design and development team and communicating
with program management and customers Familiarity with preparation
and development of project estimates, technical proposals, and
program cost and schedule management Past history of leading
baseline definition and maturation in a complex development
setting, including the use of highly integrated trade studies and
analysis of alternative Ability to read and interpret technical
drawings and schematics, parts lists, specifications, instructions,
and test procedure Professional Certification in Program Management
International (PMI) and/or Program Management Professional (PMP
Experience or certification in INCOSE standard Background in the
