Contracting and Pricing Manager ABOUT THE POSITION--- Cincinnati Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired (CABVI) is currently seeking a Contracting and Pricing Manager! This is a full-time staff position reporting to the Vice President of Social Enterprise Strategy and Operations.The Contracting & Pricing Manager is responsible for supporting the Social Enterprise teams in achieving all the accountabilities listed below. This individual should be very detail-oriented, be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple projects at the same time. This position manages numerous government contracts for our various social enterprise businesses but will primarily focus on contracts and pricing for the products manufactured within our Industries Program. This person will also be responsible for assisting in Business Development functions in support of growing product and service opportunities and to support our sales team's activities. They will also be the primary technical data manager for our product lines. This position requires someone who is very adaptable, resourceful, and is willing to take initiative to help achieve successful outcomes and solutions. Positive attitude, adaptability, and sense of humor a must.Principal responsibilities for this position include:Existing Contract Maintenance*Ensure timely renewals of existing contracts through government and commercial channels, including State of Ohio and Federal contracts.Create and maintain ongoing Essentially-the-Same (ETS) reports for Federal product lines and submit through appropriate channels.Monitor ETS violations using government purchasing aggregating program and report found violations through appropriate channels.*Business & Product Development*Assists in developing supporting data, analyzing market research, pricing, and completing necessary paperwork to receive AbilityOne Commission sponsorship and acceptance to the Federal Government Procurement List.Performs similar functions as above for Ohio's Community Rehabilitation Program (CRP).Work cross-departmentally to develop new contract and opportunity proposals for CABVI's various business lines.Develops and manages in-depth costs analysis packages for new product development opportunities.Establishes new vendors as needed to support to product opportunities.*Technical Data Management*Ensures accurate product descriptions, pricing, and specifications are used consistently across government and commercial channels.Works with marketing, sales, business development, and product management team to both aggregate and disseminate consistent product information.*Pricing Management*Facilitate multiple Annual Price Increase cycles for various CABVI product lines through appropriate Federal channels. This includes market analysis/comparisons, costing worksheets, and summary packages.Perform similar functions as above through State government channels.Regularly review product costs and margins with product management team and make pricing recommendations based on findings as needed. Use findings to manage out-of-cycle price increase requests as needed.*Other Duties as AssignedApplicants interested in being considered for this position should meet the following requirements: Bachelor's degree business or in a related field, such as accounting, finance, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, or organization and management.3+ years of professional experience in contracting, pricing development, and or/ government contracting or government purchasing.Knowledge in federal and state acquisition laws and regulation.Must have proficient technical writing and analytical skills.Ability to grasp technical concepts and communicate these concepts internally and externally.High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office.
