**Job Description**

The Sr. CDM reports to the Sr. Team Leader - Category Management and partners with their Business Development Manager to drive Category, Dollar Share, Net Sales and Contribution Growth within trade spending guidelines. The CDM interacts with many different disciplines, including Shopper Insights, Shopper Marketing, Finance and Supply Chain.

The Sr. CDM is the primary contact with Kroger regarding Assortment. The Sr. CDM is the lead in developing the Category Strategy Plan, which will drive the Strategies and Tactics necessary to grow the Category. Overall, the Sr. CDM provides Category Development expertise, in-depth analysis and shopper/consumer insights for Kroger and the Kimberly-Clark Kroger Business Team in order to make business building recommendations and deliver break through presentations. Promotion Analysis is a key element of the position as well.

Proficiency in Category Management and Insights is typically developed through at least two years of experience in Category Management, Insights and Customer Development via positions of increasing responsibility.

Qualifications:

* *Bachelor's degree required

* 3+ years' experience in Category Management
Experience with Kroger's Go to Market Strategies and Systems, especially Stratum and Market6

--- High proficiency in using syndicated data (i.e., Nielsen, IRI) loyalty card data and shopper panel metrics

--- Ability to assimilate and interpret data from multiple data sources into a concise action-oriented recommendation

--- Solid knowledge of PC based applications (Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required.

--- Experience communicating complex and/or detailed information to multiple individuals/audiences with differing levels of knowledge

--- Comprehend, communicate, and respond to inquiries on a planned and ad hoc basis.

--- Ability to relocate within the sales organization; inability to relocate may limit career opportunities.

Travel may include up to 3-4 hours per day, 3-5 days a week of work time. Travel may also include business travels via airplane to various locations. May include prolong periods of sitting, typing, viewing computer/laptop screens, along with occasional bending, reaching, lifting, carrying, climbing, twisting, stooping, and standing.
