About the role:As the Director of Mergers and Acquisitions -(M&A) for TQL, you will be responsible for leading and executing the company's mergers and acquisitions strategy. You will work closely with executive management, key functional managers, and investment advisors on all M&A efforts. This is a hands-on, full-scope role that includes research, valuation, negotiation, due diligence, contracting, closing and integration with targets. -What's in it for you: - -Help build and lead the M&A strategy for one of the largest third-party logistics and freight brokerage firms in the country -Ability to influence a fast-moving, private organization with strong resources and little-to-no red tapeCompetitive compensation, benefits -and long-term incentive packagesPaid relocation to Cincinnati, OHWork for a 2019 and 2020 Fortune 100 Best Companies To -Work ForWhat you'll be doing:Work with internal leaders to determine acquisition strategies for the company - -Identify markets, industries, geographies -and technologies that are in line with the overall M&A strategy and translate these analyses into specific targetsResearch and establish relationships with potential targets to determine strategic fitModel, analyze and evaluate the transactions through detailed target analysis and financial modeling using KPIs and other sales and cost drivers to estimate revenue and profitability of an acquisition over a multi-year projection periodDevelop operating models that are highly flexible to maneuver through multiple scenarios for the purpose of enabling changes on a real-time basisCoordinate the diligence efforts among a cross-functional team and set up the organization and communication structure to identify risks and issues that affect the target valuationLead the preparation and negotiation of contracts and other closing itemsPrepare integration plans and work with leadership to implement -Train, supervise, assist -and mentor staff and cross-functional team membersForm relationships with analysts within the industryWhat you need:Bachelor's degree in Finance or Financial Accounting required; MBA preferredMinimum 5 years of acquisitions experienceExperience in the transportation field is preferredComprehensive knowledge of valuation methodologies, including discounted cash flow modelingHighly proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft suite of productsStrong networking and negotiation skillsTeam player with extreme attention to detailProven history of meeting deadlinesExcellent organization and communication skills -Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of business processesAbility to work in a face-paced, open environmentWho you'll report to: Chief Executive OfficerWhere you'll be: -4289 Ivy Pointe Blvd., Cincinnati, OH 45245Job SummaryJob number: 21104642Date posted : 2021-12-01Profession: OperationsEmployment type: Full time
