Job Description:
Job Description SUMMARY: In this role you will serve as a
critical marketing link between the R&D and sales organization.
This includes developing and managing comprehensive product
portfolio marketing plans, key customer engagement opportunities,
portfolio rationalization, product development process (PDP)
marketing deliverables, collaboration with cross-functional
colleagues, and team leadership. You will inspire, engage, and
direct marketing efforts through a field commercial team of over 30
employees as well as develop strong cross-functional working
relationships with the marketing team and cross-functional
partners. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the
following. Other duties may be assigned on an individual basis:
Gather customer requirements and support recommendations for
existing and potential new products, as well as product
enhancements Interact with physicians, clinicians, sales force, and
R&D staff regarding new products and product enhancements
Participate in R&D design process meetings Collect and analyze
information on competitive product offerings, including features,
pricing, and warranty parameters Support activity for product
launch plans, forecasts and marketing strategy Develop sales
training materials and tools for sales force Execute innovative
marketing programs to drive revenue Analyze customer and sales
force requirements and develop recommendations for marketing tools
and resources. Support sales of Imperative Care devices Educate and
train physicians, hospital personnel on technical matters related
to Imperative Care devices Provide regular updates to management
regarding project status, as well as other critical issues which
affect the attainment of project completion dates Attend and
support company activities at relevant scientific and technical
meetings and conferences Complete accurate and timely marketing
documentation Develop and implement procedures, files, records, and
follow-up systems to ensure marketing processes are managed in a
well-organized and timely manner Support company goals and
objectives, policies and procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices,
and FDA and applicable regulatory regulations. Support the Quality
System and Quality Policy. Be aware of Quality System procedures
and requirements, including regulatory requirements and training
requirements for position activities. Inform responsible personnel
of concerns involving product quality Perform job functions in a
safe and effective manner EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Bachelor---s Degree
or equivalent work experience. MBA preferred 5 years related
experience in the medical device/pharmaceutical field, including
preferred 2 years in product marketing Willing to travel 20-30%
Ability to work independently, using good judgment, initiative and
analytical abilities, to accomplish short and long-range projects,
anticipate likely needs, and recommend actions with minimal
direction Ability to influence decision-making and action across
the organization, and to influence others independent of reporting
structure Demonstrated ability to quickly ascertain technical
aspects of product Ability to work as a team member and to be very
flexible, adaptable, and to work under pressure Self-motivated and
self-directed; conscientious approach to work assignments; enjoys
the challenges of multitasking and working at a fast pace while
staying flexible to shift tasks frequently Excellent interpersonal
and negotiating skills; ability to adapt to changing work
priorities; and ability to maintain good working relationships
while dealing appropriately with sensitive and confidential matters
and with a wide variety of personal and telephone contacts Requires
above average reading, verbal, and written communications skills;
proficiency in business English and grammar; good arithmetic skills
and attention to detail to maintain records and process reports
Proficiency with PC-based office computers, including familiarity
with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required
