Job Description:
The Senior Account Director, Neptune Retail Solutions, in
Cincinnati, will be tasked with growing and expanding the
relationship with assigned and new accounts. The role offers an
exceptional opportunity to build upon existing relationships and
expand our partnership across brand teams. The remit will be to
successfully grow current and new customer sales utilizing One
Neptune's comprehensive portfolio, including In Store Advertising &
Incentives, Digital Media, and At Home solutions. There is
opportunity to "go wider and deeper" within the assigned accounts
Operating Units/Brands to uncover net-new opportunities. This role
is roughly 25% account management and 75% new business
development.
Responsibilities include: 1) Strategically build upon current and
new relationships in order to close profitable business sales
within personal account list. Assumes responsibility for the
growth, management, and retention of sales across assigned
accounts, and for ensuring performance is aligned with company
goals and profitability requirements. 2) Manages relationships with
account brands, customer teams, and sourcing. 3) Secure meetings
with senior-level decision makers to understand their business
objective and how One Neptune capabilities can help potential
customers to achieve their goals, and to build out robust
opportunity pipeline. 4) Drive adoption of Neptune solutions across
operating units, by creating client-centric campaigns utilizing the
One Neptune capabilities and resources to address client needs.
Ability to build recommendations based on data, insights, and
financial forecasting models is essential. 5) Engage with internal
resources (Marketing, Digital Strategy, Consumer Insights,
Operations, Finance, and Management) to both uncover business
driving opportunities and elevate client proposals. 6) Maintain a
weekly cadence of forecasting and reporting of lead development to
management.
Requirements: 1) Proven track record of delivering results through
the closing of sales in the advertising landscape, ideally with or
on behalf of CPG's. 2) Has consistently achieved or exceeded
profitable sales goals selling business to business. 3) Passionate
and driven by new business development and account growth
potential. 4) Self-starter with high level of personal
accountability who takes initiative and acts quickly within
fast-paced environment. Hunter mentality, strategic thinking, and
strong attention to detail a must. 5) Success in building strong
relationships with senior level decision makers. 6) Highly
analytical with demonstrated ability to leverage data to develop
tailored solutions for clients. 7) Ability to confidently
communicate and influence internal and external stakeholders. 8)
Deep understanding of CPG industry is a must..
