Job Description:

Exceptional Living Centers is hiring a Full Time Lead Labor Specialist for our Lexington, KY location.

SUMMARY:
Provide oversite and leadership to On-Site schedulers, complete assigned projects in a timely manner, monitor and advise schedulers and build team based on best practices for labor management.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Proactively keep the Director of Talent Acquisition up to date on all scheduling and labor concerns.
Partner with Executive Director and leadership team to evaluate workforce needs for assigned business units.
Work with Director of TA to manage the On-Site schedulers to include but not limited to: hiring, scheduler development, coaching, corrective action, and terminations as appropriate.
Monitor scheduling teams daily activities, evaluate performance and provide work product feedback.
Maintain, develop and utilize reports using current and future programs.
Create and maintain schedules for assigned buildings.
Analyze PPD and staffing levels with schedulers for PPD management and staffing concerns.
Analyze labor data and work with On-Site schedulers to manage Agency usage, bonuses and overtime.
Analyze staffing levels and open positions to proactively resolve potential staffing issues.
Work with vendors to maximize reporting and employee utilization.
Work to resolve any building and or customer concerns pertaining to scheduling and labor management
Collaborate with scheduling and building team to provide regional and facility based scheduling software training for Managers and appropriate on site staff.
Serve as first point of contact for schedulers to work through scheduling needs and training.
Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations staffing regulations and related reporting.
Participate in On-Call or scheduler coverage as needed.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma or GED required.
5 years scheduler experience.
Demonstrated experience using scheduling system.
Previous Supervisor experience preferred.
Long-term care or health care experience preferred.
