Muncie Campus is seeking a Full Time Director of Quality, RN. The
Director of Quality/Infection Control is a qualified Registered
Nurse (RN) with knowledge of CDC guidelines and definitions of
healthcare associated infections (HAIs), federal and state
regulations. He/She is responsible for the identification,
investigation, reporting, prevention and control of healthcare
associated infections (HAIs) among patients and personnel. By
authority of the Infection Control Committee, she/he may institute
collection of cultures and initiate appropriate isolation
precautions. She/He is responsible for assisting with in-service
programs related to infection prevention and control. Concerning
Employee Health, he/she is responsible for attending to all
employee work related injuries and recommending appropriate action,
as well as communicating with the risk manager any trends in the
workplace. He/she is also responsible for pre-employment medical
screening tests, as well as annual recurring screens. Also, he/she
serves as a liaison to the workers compensation carrier for our
facility. He/she is responsible for development and implementation
of the hospitals Utilization Review plan. This position requires
travel between Muncie and Greenfield.Join our dynamic team and

Licensure RequiredQuality, Infection Control experience
preferredMinimum three (3) years experience in a supervisory
position in healthcare or one (1) to three (3) years in infection
control.Member of the Association of Practitioners of Infection
Control and EpidemiologyWorking knowledge of microbiology,
Epidemiology, infectious disease, aseptic techniques and current
practicesRequires travel between Muncie and Greenfield.Current BLS
CertificationA minimum of one-year experience in utilization
reviewDemonstrated leadership and management ability with a minimum
of two-four years' experience in nursing administration.Able to
communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in
