Job Description:

The Division of Pharmacy of Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center (CCHMC) is seeking a liver transplant clinical specialist to be part of a 23 person clinical specialist team. Responsibilities include rounding with the inpatient liver transplant team, seeing patients in the outpatient liver transplant clinic at select phases of care, completing all CMS required documentation and attending specified unit/service related meetings. Weekend hospital-wide coverage of pharmacokinetics and AKI monitoring is approximately one weekend per quarter. Other responsibilities include medical and pharmacy staff education, drug use evaluation and performance improvement. Preceptorship of the pharmacy residents and pharmacy students is required. Involvement in scholarly activity is expected. CCHMC is a 628 bed tertiary care teaching hospital affiliated with the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and College of Pharmacy.
