Description: General Description:Provide program supervision to licensed therapists, case managers and other staff as assigned. Oversee and manage the day to day functioning of therapeutic services including clinical, staff and programmatic issues pertaining to the operation of the program.Ideal Candidate

  • Directly oversee and supervise outpatient therapist and case managers.
  • Demonstrate the ability to make independent decisions, exercise sound clinical judgment, multi-task and set priorities.
  • Confer with staff regularly regarding techniques used, case progress, and related matters for the purpose of promoting and evaluating professional development and assuring quality of care.
  • Ensure clinical services provided to clients are of high quality and are delivered in an ethical and respectful manner.
  • Ensure staff is clearly oriented to their roles and expectations, and that they receive initial and continuing in-service training applicable to their position.
  • Responsible for evaluating staff performance and addressing any performance issues in collaboration with the Regional Director.
  • Provide regularly scheduled administrative, clinical and reflective supervision individually and/or in a group setting.
  • Monitor quality of work and provide feedback through audits, reviews and regular supervision.
  • Review referral documentation and consult with referral teams to determine each client's appropriateness for services, level of care and plan for transition that assists each client with recovery.
  • Provide clinical consultation to the team for the development of treatment plans; offer corrective feedback, sign service plans, transitions plans and DAF's as warranted.
  • Implement evidenced based interventions as trained
  • Recruit, interview and hire staff; adhering to adequate staff/ client ratios
  • Provide supervision that includes direct and periodic observation of essential functions. Documentation must include assessment of professional competencies and skills and recommendations for improvement.
  • Assist with staff training related to clinical and supervision issues.
  • Maintain a positive professional reputation within the agency and in the community.
  • Maintain professional objectivity and self-discipline in conducting job responsibilities, ensuring each youth's needs remain the primary focus.Agency Expectations:
  • Maintain compliance and adheres to all SJO policies and practices, meeting critical expectations as defined.
  • Attends and utilizes supervision, carrying out all directives.
  • Reviews problems and concerns with supervisor to ensure effective and efficient completion of essential responsibilities.
  • Participates in all initial and on-going trainings as required by supervisor, SJO and regulatory policies.
  • Completes required documentation and responds to request from other departments accurately and by the required deadline.
  • Check SJO email at least once per day during assigned shifts. Staying up to date on emails is an expected job duty for all SJO employees.Status: Full TimeHours: Monday through Friday 9am - 5pmLocation: Villa Campus. Requirements:
    • Must have at a minimum of a Master's Degree in Social Work or Counseling;
    • Independent license (LISW or LPCC), must be and remain in good standing with their professional board
    • A minimum of five years clinical or care management experience with at risk children preferred.
    • Criminal background check; CPR/First Aid training; valid driver's license, clean driving record and drug screen; proof of current auto insurance.
    • Must have demonstrated the ability to work independently and as a team player; be strongly committed to the goals of St. Joseph Orphanage; must have good written and verbal skills, be well organized; able to work flexible hours.#PM20
