Job DescriptionTHIS POSITION IS ELIGIBLE FOR A $4,000.00 SIGN-ON BONUS FOR 1 YEAR OF SERVICECommunity Mental Health Center, Inc. is a provider of comprehensive mental health services, offering inpatient, outpatient, home-based, school, and community-based programs to individuals and families in Dearborn, Franklin, Ohio, Ripley and Switzerland counties in Southeastern Indiana. CMHC offers a full continuum of care to individuals and families of all ages. CMHC follows the recovery model which emphasizes and supports each individual's potential for recovery. Recovery is seen as a personal journey that utilizes supportive relationships, empowerment, social inclusion, and coping skills.Position Responsibilities: The Therapist will provide assessment, therapy, consultation, skills training, care coordination, and case management services, for pregnant women, infants, and young children ages 0-5.Qualifications: Master's degree in social work or related discipline from an accredited school. Must have obtained a Mental Health Associate or Social Worker license in the state of Indiana. Must be willing to work toward endorsement as an infant mental health specialist within two years of employment.Day-to-Day Expectations:

  • Provides individual, family, and group counseling as outlined in Individualized Integrated Care Plan.
  • Provides comprehensive assessments.
  • Provides consultation with practice physicians. Assists in engagement through introduction during primary care visit, if available.
  • Maintains awareness of prescribed psychotropic medications (including dosage, whether prescribed by a CMHC psychiatrist or another physician) and consults regularly with a CMHC psychiatrist concerning the client's therapeutic response to prescribed medications.
  • Participates in or establishes the Child and Family Team that utilize the family vision, and the team's prioritized list of needs to create an Individualized Integrated Care Plan that defines the goals, specific outcomes, roles on the team, and time- frames for treatment.
  • Provides case management services as specified in the IICP for youth and families enrolled in the program.Why You Should Apply?
