you on your Bearcat journey.Job OverviewUnder general supervision
from a designated at CAPS, provide comprehensive clinical,
consultative, emergency and psycho-educational services reflecting
the needs of a diverse student body, following all relevant
national professional association ethical standards and state and
federal laws regarding service delivery, record keeping,
documentation, and other professional activities. Develop and
provide outreach to the campus community and build a supportive
community for the academic success and well-being of
students.Essential Functions- Conduct individual and group
counseling.- Write reports and proposals concerning program
operation.-Assess needs and create, plan and implement outreach
activities including social media outlets.-Consult with faculty and
staff within the university regarding counseling needs and provide
training to faculty and staff on creating supportive learning
environments.Required EducationDoctoral Degree in Counseling or
Clinical Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.).Required
Trainings/CertificationsLicensed Psychologist or licensed eligible
in the State of Ohio (must obtain license in the State of Ohio
within six (6) months of date of hire).Required ExperienceThree (3)
years of clinical counseling experience.Additional Qualifications
Considered- A doctorate in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from
an APA accredited program.- Pre-doctoral internship from an APA
accredited internship training site.Physical Requirements/Work
