Medical Assistant Anderson Family MedicineJob Summary:The Certified
Medical Assistant is a key component of our team that works closely
with the primary care physician to deliver excellent patient care
to our community, ensuring services are provided within the Medical
Assisting scope and state guidelines. The Certified Medical
Assistant is responsible for reviewing and updating health records,
measuring vital signs, and preparing treatment rooms for upcoming
examinations.Essential Functions:Provides excellent customer
service skills by greeting patients and the community in a
respectful mannerPrepares & reviews patient charts for upcoming
visits by verifying that all diagnostic test results, hospital
reports, and other medical records are correct and up to
dateMeasures vital signs such as pulse rate, respiration, blood
pressure, weight, and heightPerforms departmental-related clerical
duties such as checking inventory, stock supplies, track referrals,
and answer phones as neededMust possess the ability to troubleshoot
and resolve problems promptlyOther duties as assignedEducation:High
School Degree or GEDLicensure/Certification:Active Medical
Assisting Certification (required)Basic Life Support (BLS) American
Heart Association (preferred upon hire, required within 90 days of
hire)Experience:One year of medical assistant healthcare experience
(preferred, not required)Two years of clerical experience in a
physicians office (preferred, not required)Skills &
Abilities:Possesses problem-solving skills, basic computer skills,
with excellent communication and interpersonal skillsEngage with
