Experience: --- 12 months of role experience is required from any number of months. --- 10 months of Medical Surgical - Orthopedic Unit experience is required from any number of months. --- Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months. --- Diploma completion required Requirements: --- Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license (required for submission). --- This role will require floating to multiple units --- Local & travel allowed. Additional Details: Med-Surg experience is required, specialty experience is preferred. Unit Description: Joint and Spine Center/Musculoskeletal 4-5: The orthopedic/neurosurgery unit is a fast-paced, 58-bed unit consisting of all private rooms located in The Joint and Spine Center (JSC) on floors 4-5. It has state-of-the art technology including the Navicare Nurse Call system, in room computing, patient information and precaution monitors as well as texting communication. The unit primarily provides specialized care for patients undergoing orthopedic/neurosurgical procedures including total joint replacements, fracture repairs, spinal surgeries, craniotomies and intracranial hemorrhage patients. The unit may also receive medical/surgical overflow. The experience of caring for the diverse patient population on this unit provides staff with a solid clinical foundation in medical surgical nursing. Every 3rd weekend. Required Experience: 2 years acute m/s experience (within last 5 years) Preferred experience: MS neuro/ortho experience Submissions must include M/S checklist and evaluation type references 2 references from last 2 years (Any reference type) - required for submission Proof of identification required Certifications: --- BLS (Basic Life Support)
