Job Description:
Job responsibilities are as follows: Set up and control
processes such as blending, extraction and filtration and complete
appropriate documentation Operate process and utility equipment in
a hygienic and safe manner in accordance with all process
procedures, cGMP and HAACP guidelines Set up, calibrate and monitor
instruments such as pH meter, temperature meter, conductivity
meter, hydrometer and thermometers Tear down, clean and re-assemble
equipment such as pumps, grinders and valves Clean utensils,
vessels and lines Identify, troubleshoot and respond to deviations
in process, product, equipment and performance variations Perform
minor maintenance work on equipment when necessary Complete the
daily, weekly and monthly sanitation schedules Complete necessary
paperwork and batch sheets that accompany mixes compounded Record
indicator readings and test results Follow standard instructions to
package products to specifications Tend solvent extraction
equipment that extracts flavor compounds Observe temperature and
steam pressure gauges and flow meters Turn valves or hand wheels to
regulate temperature and flow of material in equipment within
specified limits Follow sanitary guidelines for CIP and cleaning
You must have a high school diploma or GED and be able to pass a
pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check in order
