Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: PACU Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours (06:30 - 17:00) Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Tele and travel experience required License: Compact or KY State License required at time of submission Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required Must-Have: Candidates must float between facilities and work during waiting shifts. Description: Endoscopy Prep/Recovery position is available. Candidates will assist with both intake and recovery. Shifts are from 7 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Late call will be expected. Floating between locations is a requirement. No weekends or major holidays are mandatory as the unit is closed during those times. Local travelers within a 75-mile radius are not accepted. Candidates must provide their time-off requests at the time of submission; any requests sent after the offer will not be approved. Response time for on-call duty is one hour. Weekday call will be from 8 PM to 6 AM. Weekend call will be divided into two shifts: 6 AM to 6 PM or 6 PM to 6 AM. The weekend period begins Saturday at 6 AM and ends Monday morning at 6 AM. Candidates should expect 2-3 on-call shifts per scheduling period of six weeks. Modules are billable and average 6.5 hours in duration. Modules are completed during orientation and annually. Floating between departments may be required based on patient needs. Candidates with previous employment with the facility must ensure eligibility for rehire. Rehire eligibility is verified weekly.
