Job Description DextroMedical is seeking a local contract nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a local contract nursing job in Lima, Ohio. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Local Contract A well-rounded and experienced Med Surg/Telemetry RN is needed for a travel assignment in Lima, OH. This position requires flexibility, clinical confidence, and the ability to float to units within the nurse’s skill set. The ideal candidate will bring at least two years of experience in a Med Surg/Tele setting and be committed to providing high-quality, patient-focused care. Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a Med Surg/Telemetry setting Monitor cardiac telemetry, administer medications, and implement treatment plans Perform patient assessments and respond appropriately to clinical changes Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes Maintain accurate and timely documentation Float as needed to units within the RN’s competency Required Qualifications: Active RN license (Ohio or compact) Minimum of 2 years recent experience in Med Surg/Tele BLS certification (American Heart Association) ACLS certification (American Heart Association) Must be comfortable floating to all units within skill level Additional Notes: Candidates must be adaptable, team-oriented, and clinically sound Interview required prior to placement Shift Details: Nights 36 hours per week Local Pay Rate: $57.14 DextroMedical Job ID AHSA-59058-LR.
