Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CT Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, evenings - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 1 year of CT experience and current ARRT(R) certification for a second shift assignment. Responsibilities - Position is within the CT section of a hospital radiology department - Performs CT imaging and general radiographic examinations under the supervision of a radiologist or physician - Second shift schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM - No call required at this time - Patient transport and preparation included as needed - Candidates may be asked to cover other facilities within the market - Responsibilities include performing CT and general radiographic procedures, intravenous contrast injections, and ensuring radiation safety for patients and staff - Maintains equipment, stocks rooms, and ensures cleanliness per department standards - Educates patients and families about procedures - Assists other staff and may help train students or trainees - Compliance with hospital’s mission, values, and departmental policies is required - Must adhere to departmental PTO and schedule policies - 50-mile radius rule applies for travelers Requirements - Minimum of 1 year CT experience required; 2 years of radiology experience preferred - Current ARRT(R) certification required - Ohio Department of Health License for Radiologic Technologist required if applicable - BLS certification required - Broad technical skill set and operational knowledge of radiology/CT equipment - Passing EKG exam on first day, with two attempts allowed - ARRT(R)(CT) and ACLS preferred - Degree in Radiologic Sciences or related field preferred Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-626721.
