A rewarding OB/GYN Laborist opportunity awaits in Cincinnati, Ohio! Join a dedicated, collaborative hospital-based Labor & Delivery team providing exceptional care to mothers and newborns. This locum position is ideal for a skilled, compassionate physician seeking a consistent and well-supported hospital environment. Position Highlights: Start Date: December 29, 2025 Setting: In-hospital OB/GYN Laborist Annual Delivery Volume: Active, 30-bed Labor & Delivery unit Team: 1 OB/GYN 2 Certified Nurse Midwives full L&D support staff Nursery Level: II C-section rate: ~25% Patient mix: ~70% low-risk, ~10% high-risk pregnancies EMR: Epic Call schedule: TBD (flexible and collaborative coverage model) Comprehensive Malpractice Coverage provided Complimentary Travel & Lodging arranged and covered Key Responsibilities: Manage and deliver low- and high-risk pregnancies Perform and interpret OB ultrasounds and fetal heart rate tracings Conduct routine and complicated deliveries, including C-sections and VBACs Provide emergent obstetric care as needed Collaborate closely with midwives, nurses, and hospital staff Requirements: Board Certified OB/GYN Active Ohio License DEA Completion of an ACGME or AOA-accredited OB/GYN residency Emergency credentialing availability Strong interpersonal and team collaboration skills Why You’ll Love Cincinnati, OH: Cincinnati offers a vibrant mix of big-city amenities and small-town charm — from award-winning restaurants and cultural attractions to beautiful parks and family-friendly neighborhoods.
