Job Title: RN Bone Marrow Profession: RN Specialty: Bone Marrow Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Evening/Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in BMT and 1 year of travel nursing experience. License: RN Certifications: ONS Chemo or ONCC Chemo-bio certification Must-Have: - 2 years of BMT experience - Experience administering chemotherapy - EPIC EMR/charting experience Description: Experienced BMT Nurse needed for a 16-bed unit caring for patients actively receiving stem cell therapies and participating in clinical trials. The unit requires a minimum of 2 years of RN experience in Med Surg, telemetry, PCU, BMT, or inpatient oncology. Candidates must have experience with chemotherapy administration. BMT, stem cell therapy, chemotherapy, and clinical trials are central to this role. The position entails 36 hours per week or three 12-hour shifts. Work every other weekend is mandatory. Typical patient-to-nurse ratios are 1:5-6. The RN may be expected to float to other equivalent units as needed.
