working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Lexington,
Kentucky, 40536! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing

Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Experience with
telemetry and interpretation of dysrhythmias - Must be trained on
epilepsy monitoring unit (EMU) for monitoring and interviewing
patients - Previous charge experience preferred Description: This
position involves working in a combined Progressive Care Unit and
Medical Surgical unit. The emphasis is on neuro patients, but staff
will care for overflow patients as needed. The nurse-patient ratio
is typically 1:3-4 and may surge to 1:5 during rare occasions. BLS,
ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required. Candidates must have
experience in telemetry and management of dysrhythmias. There will
be interdisciplinary support from physical therapy, respiratory
services, social services, and more. The unit consists of 19 beds,
primarily focusing on adult and geriatric patients with various
diagnoses. The nurse should be prepared to float between the two
units based on staffing needs. Special compliance requirements
include passing exams related to pharmacology, math, and
progressive care skills. Candidates must be aware of rehire
