Cath Lab Tech Location: Lexington, KY Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $3,186 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 14 Weeks Start Date: 2/9/2026 About the Position Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in specialty required License: Rad Tech License in Kentucky required before start; pending license acceptable at submission Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS required; PALS must be obtained before the start date Must-Have: - Level 1 experience preferred - EKG onboarding exam required - Local travelers within 75 miles not accepted Description: Candidates must have a valid Rad Tech License in Kentucky through ARRT before starting. Pending license applications are acceptable at the time of submission. Level 1 experience in a Cath Lab setting is preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications are required. PALS certification must be obtained before the start date. An EKG onboarding exam is required. Shifts will be four 10-hour shifts weekly, from 07:00 to 17:30. Call requirements include one late call shift per week and one call shift per week. Candidates will also have 1-2 call weekends within a six-week schedule. Preferred equipment experience includes Philips Single and Bi-Plane Angiography. Familiarity with Epic EHR and McKesson is required. Candidates are expected to float within the facility or to affiliated locations as needed. A commitment to patient safety and quality care is a must. Candidates will be responsible for a variety of procedures, including angioplasty, cardiac stent placement, and diagnostic catheterizations. Candidates must be skilled in accurate monitoring and hemodynamic monitoring, among other Cath Lab procedures. Compliance requirements include current certifications and passing competency exams related to Cath Lab Tech skills. Preference is given to candidates with experience in trauma and community hospital settings. Interest in continuing education and professional development is encouraged.
