Job Description:
The Supervisor must demonstrate thorough knowledge of the human
anatomy, physiology, as well as image quality. He/she must be able
to communicate to patients the nature of the exam and relieve their
anxiety. Must demonstrate an understanding of patient positioning,
imaging technique, radiation safety, MRI safety, imaging equipment,
infection control, and quality control techniques. Demonstrates an
understanding and skill in the direction and training of the
radiology students. The supervisor will assist the Manager/Director
in meeting department satisfaction, regulatory and budgetary goals.
Qualifications Required: One year as a Diagnostic Imaging Tech One
of: CNMT, (CT), (MR), (N), (R), RDMS, (S), (VI) AND State Radiology
Technologist License - Must obtain RAD within 12 mos of hire if
currently hold RADT. Not required for employees with RDMS
credential. Desired: Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) OR
Computed Tomography Technologist OR Magnetic Resonance Imaging
Technologist OR Nuclear Medicine Technologist OR Radiologic
Technologist (ARRT) OR Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer OR
Sonography Technologist OR Vascular Interventional Radiography
