Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: OR - Operating Room - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/09/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - OR Job Details: • Work in Transplant Operating Room specializing in abdominal transplants including kidney, pancreas, liver, and intestinal/multi-visceral procedures • Available shift options: 8-hour, 10-hour, or 12-hour shifts • Guaranteed hours: 40 hours per week for 8 and 10-hour shifts, 36 hours per week for three 12-hour shifts, 48 hours per week for four 12-hour shifts • Call requirement: 40-60 hours per 6-week period • Float required to multi-specialty areas and all surgery types • Weekend coverage required • Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays • Minimum 2 years of strong transplant experience required • Required certifications: BLS, Regulatory Charting for Transplants • Must have actual transplant procedure experience within the last 2 years • Experience required with Da Vinci Xi Surgical System and robotic surgery procedures • Must be comfortable with organ donation procedures • Work with adult and geriatric patient populations • Charting system: Cerner (preferred experience) • Free parking provided • Indiana license, temporary license, or compact license required at start • May occasionally float to assist with pediatric transplants Facility: This major academic medical center operates as a short-term acute care facility with multiple units totaling over 700 staffed beds.
