Compensation Estimated Weekly Salary: $7,050–$8,350 Job Details (Radiation Oncology Locum Tenens) Job Title: Locum Tenens Radiation Oncologist (Physician) Position Type: Locum tenens / travel physician assignment Setting: Outpatient, free-standing cancer centers Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM Shift Duration: 8 Hour Days Hours per Week: 40 Coverage Dates: ASAP (anticipated 2026-03-09 to 2026-06-08) Call / Weekends: Call handled by permanent providers Patient Volume: ~20 outpatient/day; ~1 inpatient/day EMR: Mosaiq, Epic Credentialing Timeframe: 90–120 days Job Requirements (Radiation Oncologist) Board Certification: Board Certified in Radiation Oncology (required) Licensure: Active Ohio medical license (required) or willingness to obtain (acceptable) Certifications: BLS (required) Compliance: NPDB Self-Query report dated within 30 days of presentation (required) Responsibilities (Outpatient Radiation Oncology) Provide comprehensive radiation oncology care for an adult patient population in an outpatient clinic setting Evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, and prescribe radiation therapy aligned with evidence-based standards Order and interpret appropriate tests and imaging to support treatment planning and ongoing management Deliver and oversee conventional and advanced radiotherapy techniques, including: Conventional Radiotherapy 3D Radiotherapy / 3D-CRT IGRT and IMRT Stereotactic Radiosurgery SBRT and Fractionated Stereotactic Radiotherapy Document care clearly and timely within Mosaiq and Epic Collaborate with the onsite multidisciplinary cancer care team to ensure safe, coordinated, patient-centered care Apply now to join this Lima/Celina-area locum tenens physician opportunity in outpatient cancer care.
