Ascension is seeking a dedicated and skilled Mammography Technologist to join our faith-based healthcare organization. In this role, you will be integral in providing advanced imaging services in our state-of-the-art facilities, actively supporting our mission to innovate and deliver personalized, compassionate care. You will work within our network of hospitals and clinics, using cutting-edge technology to assist in the early detection of breast cancer. This position requires a professional who is committed to patient safety, quality of care and continuous improvement of their clinical skills. Perform high-quality mammographic imaging tests to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of breast diseases. Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures. Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment according to the required standards. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare team members to discuss clinical procedures and results. Implement radiation safety procedures to minimize exposure to patient and staff. Document procedural data and patient information accurately in the health record system. Participate in continuous education and professional development opportunities. Proficiency in the operation of mammography imaging equipment. Strong understanding of radiation safety and protocols. Excellent patient management and communication skills. Ability to problem-solve and make decisions under pressure. Detail-oriented with a strong emphasis on accuracy. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Valid certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), with a specialization in Mammography. State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist, if required by the state.
