qualified PACU/Pre-Post Op RN in Louisville, Kentucky, 40201! ID:
75650732 Shift: Mid Shift: 10:00-22:30; call between 3-5 weeknight
shifts in a 6 week schedule period, 2030-0700. Th Description: This

Description located in Egnyte. Job Summary: A professional nurse is
an individual accountable for the care of a group of patients. The
Registered Nurse (RN) focuses on safe effective patient and family
centered care, customer satisfaction and quality outcomes. The RN
is responsible for assisting in maintaining a financially stable
unit, promoting his/her own development with an emphasis on
evidence based practice and education supported by a Practice
Governance framework. The RN supervises licensed and non-licensed
staff members. Applying the caring processes of the Kristin M.
Swanson Model of Care, the RN has the responsibility to assess,
develop, implement and evaluate the plan of care. The RN focuses on
patient and family comforts, education and satisfaction. The RN
applies his/her educational and professional experiences in the
delivery of quality care and mentoring/precepting staff. Job
Responsibilities: -Assessment: Performs assessments & reassessments
per policy & procedure or as warranted by patient condition;
demonstrates ability to make sound independent decisions.
-Development & Implementation: Initiates, prioritizes and
implements the plan of care and reviews and revises the plan as
indicated. Collaborates with patient/family & interdisciplinary
services; utilizes resources appropriately to support the needs of
the organization/patient/family. -Evaluation: Monitors and
documents response to clinical interventions. -Education:
Facilitates/coordinates/provides/evaluates education specific to
patient/family needs and as appropriate to the care, treatment and
services provided during their stay and at discharge. -Leadership:
Delegates tasks to licensed and non-licensed personnel; functions
as a mentor/preceptor; demonstrates/encourages/facilitates
teamwork; identifies and appropriately communicates opportunities
for improvement; participates in quality, safety and service
process improvement efforts and implements practice changes;
complies with regulatory standards; participates in the Practice
Governance model. null Schedule : 10:00-22:30; call between 3-5
weeknight shifts in a 6 week schedule period, 2030-0700. There is
also a weekend call requirement and it is typically 2-4 weekend
call shifts in a 6 week schedule period (this is not full weekends
every time but just single weekend shifts).Required: BLS, ACLS,
NIH, Epic experience, 2 years RN experience, KY license at
