Job Description Below is the job description for your reference: Job Title: Physician Location: London OH 43140 Duration: 4 months to Long term Shift: 08:00am-04:30pm (M-F) Hours/week: 16 -20 Hours/week Job description: Searching for a physician who is board-eligible or board-certified in internal medicine, family medicine, or emergency medicine and who is experienced in primary care to provide part-time on-site services to the male population at this facility. Schedule is 2 weekday shifts/week: no evenings, weekends, or holidays. There is some flexibility in start/end times based on needs of facility. Duties: 1. Working collaboratively with intra and interdepartmental staff to administer treatment for patients utilizing nationally recognized treatment standards and documenting utilizing an electronic health record system 2. Conducting exams and writing evaluations and reports 3. Ordering and interpreting diagnostic testing 4. Managing medication 5. Completing reclassifications and other reviews as indicated 6. Making referrals for specialized care or treatment 7. Performing duties in accordance with scope of practice, ODRC policies, procedures, protocols, and related American Correctional Association standards 8. Participating in Continuous Quality Improvement meetings and activities, including peer reviews 9. Engaging in collaborative agreements, as needed 10. Caseload: Up to 2.5 patients/hour
