About the Institution Ascension St. Vincent is a leading tertiary referral center and home to one of the Midwest's most advanced heart failure and transplant programs. Our campus is known for clinical excellence, innovation, and a mission–driven approach to patient care. Position Overview This role provides overnight coverage for our 24–bed CCU, which serves a diverse population of advanced cardiac and surgical patients. The program continues to grow and offers exposure to some of the most complex cardiac cases in the region. Program Highlights ~30 heart transplants annually ~80 durable LVAD implants per year Full spectrum of temporary mechanical circulatory support (Impella, Centrimag, IABP, etc.) Implementation of a formal shock program Pulmonary hypertension care integrated with advanced therapies Robust clinical research programs in advanced heart failure, pulmonary hypertension and critical care
