Job DescriptionMultiple Shifts-Front Desk Reservation SpecialistThe Holiday Inn & Suites Cincinnati Downtown is seeking an experienced First and Second Shift Front Desk Specialist to join our team! Associates ready to work in a fast-paced, energetic, and rewarding environment are highly encouraged to apply. This is a great opportunity for the right candidates. Job duties may include but are not limited to: Answering high-volume emails, properly answering telephone calls for contracted reservations, proficient use of computer systems required, quickly resolving any guest needs or requests efficiently, and being professional at all times at the workplace. The ideal candidate must also be a team player. These positions involve being responsible for all aspects of guest service and typical hotel operations. The candidate must be attentive to detail, have the ability to learn and adapt to a changing working environment, be able to work independently with a strong work ethic, and be able to effectively manage all aspects of guest service and satisfaction. Candidates must be able to stand for long periods of time.Compensation:$13.50 - $14.50 hourlyResponsibilities:

  • Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner
  • Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Rolling Hills standards, as required by scheduling which will vary according to the needs of the hotel
  • Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes wearing the proper uniform and name tag when working
  • Answer all incoming calls promptly, in a friendly, efficient, and courteous manner
  • Be able to answer guest inquiries about hotel services, facilities, and hours of operation
  • Book room reservations for contracted airline crew
  • Communicate and work closely with the Sales and Front Desk Department concerning contracted airline crew
  • Maintain accurate files and reports
  • Compile and input all necessary information for the required Rooms Merchandising meetingsMarginal:
    • Perform any other duties as requested by management
    • Attend meetings as required by management
    • Be able to perform all duties of Guest Services Agent and assist as needed at the front desk Qualifications:
      • Experience in a hotel is not required
      • A High School diploma or equivalent required
