Job Description:
Job Summary:
The HR Administrator will act as the first point of contact and
provide support to contributors with routine, day-to-day HR
questions, needs, and inquiries, establishing a positive and
professional environment.
Coordinate all new hire related activities including new
contributor communication, on-site preparation, orientation
scheduling, and assist leadership with onboarding questions and
tasks as it relates to new hires.
Conducts new hire orientation to ensure employees gain an
understanding of benefit plans, policies, and procedures.
Assists in the administration of a robust communications plan,
including the coordination of the DC social media page, bulletin
board updates and site events as required.
Creates, maintains and revises general and confidential
departmental files and records.
Coordinates and/or assists with internal contributor
events/activities such as Service Award Celebrations, Open House,
Random Drug Screens, etc.
Serve as a back-up to the payroll administrator.
Responds to all inquiries by internal leadership, internal
contributors and external vendors via phone, email and in person.
(May require time spent on warehouse floor)
Demonstrates a high level of confidentiality with department and
contributor information.
Prepares materials needed for meetings.
Locates and gathers information from the appropriate source to
assist in resolving business issues. Pursues information that may
not be readily available.
Monitors and maintains office supplies and places orders where
needed.
This individual will work closely with the HR Business Partners to
continue to develop and grow in areas such as Employee Relations &
investigations.
Performs other related duties as needed and/or assigned.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Must be able to work with highly confidential information.
Proficiency with MS Office Suite (MS Excel, Outlook, and Word).
Success Factors experience preferred.
Physical Requirement : Capability to lift 30 pounds.
Working Conditions : While performing the duties of this job, the
employee is regularly required to reach, swivel, carry items from
one building to another, and speak and actively listen. Noise level
is usually moderate.
Education And/Or experience:
3+ years' experience in HR, degree preferred.
