    The Human Resources Generalist is an integral part of our organization. The department has a passion for working with people and treat every employee as our customer. We are looking for individuals that are open to working in the office.
    You would be involved in a wide variety of tasks, and projects within various industries (Corporate, Construction, Manufacturing, Aggregate/Mining, and Terminals).
    Key areas of responsibility include; Coaching & developing managers and leaders. Serving as a resource for team members. Overseeing and maintaining regulartoy compliance with state, federal and local agencies. Managing the Learning Management System (LMS) and practices of the organization.

    • Coaches and supports company leaders as it relates to employee relations.
    • Serves as a resource to employees; answers questions, researches data, gathers information.
    • Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
    • Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
    • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
    • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, and employment law.
    • Conducts exit interviews
    • Acst as the companies drug enforcement representative.
    • Tracks and coordinates HR Metrics reports as required.
    • Collects, tracks, and files yearly reports to maintain compliance with various State and Federal programs.
    • Coordinates Special Events and Presentations (Company Picnic, Cultural Events, Retirement Parties, etc.)
    • Oversees and coordinates scheduling of all training and manages training data in the learning management system (LMS).
    • Maintains database of all P/R, workcomp and HR documents as needed.
    • Provides requested training, HR and Safety data as needed for various parties.
    • Processes monthly I-29 reports for states, cities, counties and municipalities as required.
    • Maintains records for EEO compliance and oversees EEO audits.
    • Coordinates yearly filings of all PR1391 reports.
    • Coordinates uniforms/apparel, keys, and security access for employees.
    • Leads, manages and participates in various special projects and initiatives.Qualifications:

      • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
      • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
      • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems.
