Position SummaryThe Payroll Process Specialist is responsible
for the processing and oversight of our payroll processes for
weekly hourly people to meet the needs of our company and our
people, including all local, state and federal requirements. This
position also delivers on the day-to-day commitments to our

the Crescent Safety Playbook - Doing It SafeDirects visitors to
appropriate department or calls for personnel to assist in
escorting the visitor to the appropriate area (i.e. GE foreign
nationals). Ensures that visitors are wearing appropriate attire
for walking through the warehouse safely (shared receptionist
duty).Ensure Safe and well-maintained Work Environment and
conditions throughout all work spaces, facility and surrounding
areasEngage all staff and employees in cultivating and promoting a
Safety-First CulturePeopleSupport Training Program to ensure
Crescent People have been appropriately trained to successfully
satisfy required role and responsibilities as definedGreet all
visitors and guests in a professional and welcoming manner whether
in person or phone conversations.Promote a Work Environment where
Crescent People are valued and can safely communicate, grow and
develop.Work closely with Crescent site leadership to ensure
payroll/Krono's is updated timely and accurate for the proper and
timely processing of weekly (hourly) payroll.QualityBackup to
Payroll Process Supervisor regarding biweekly (salaried) payroll
includingaudits all Kronos actions that impact peoples'
payrollaudits direct deposits to prevent errors.audits entries for
new hires for missing or erroneous informationAudits all HR actions
for hourly (weekly) peoples' payrollAudits direct deposits to
prevent errors for hourly (weekly) people including ACH
Return/NotificationAudits entries for new hires for missing or
erroneous information for hourly (weekly) peopleAudits timesheet
report for coded payable hours except PTOProcess employee
reimbursement for hourly peopleCustomer ValueTakes a non-paint by
numbers approach to streamline and continually improve our payroll
processesReview and process new tax forms for hourly (weekly)
peopleTracks and reconcile all additional extra pay items (i.e.
bonuses, incentives, etc.)Processes weekly payroll on Tuesdays,
ensuring all hourly people are paid correctly and Crescent complies
with governing federal, state, and local agenciesBe viewed by our
operations as a resource and go-to person for assistance with and
clarification of the hourly payroll processes. For unresolved
issues/question, escalate to Payroll Process Supervisor for
additional info/clarification/research on the issueAnswers incoming
telephone calls in a cheerful, courteous, and timely manner,
properly routing each call to the proper party, taking messages
when necessaryFinancialCaptures, tracks and recovers benefit
arrears for hourly people. Send email notification on planned
repayment schedule once hourly people have returned to workEnsures
terminations are entered completely and correctly. It includes PTO
payout, negative PTO adjustment, recovery of benefit arrears or any
money owedUse demand for payment letter to recover any negative PTO
balance or any outstanding balance dueEnsures the integrity of the
payroll process and confidentiality of all its dataCultural
