ABOUT THE JOB
This is a remote opportunity located in the Southeast (TN, NC, SC,
GA, FL, AL, MS, and LA)
As part of the Connected Products organization, the Connected
Products Technical Sale Associate will create new sales
opportunities for both Vault Enterprise and Vault Home (commercial
and retail) businesses. Utilizing a combination of phone, email,
social media complemented with data insights, the salesperson will
build a pipeline of potential opportunities and will be the face of
the CP organization to these potential customers. When appropriate,
the CP technical salesperson will utilize the CP organization (CP
BDMs, CP Marketing, CP Engineering) to help close deals, and will
partner with CP approved distribution partners, as well as leverage
the existing commercial and retail teams to fulfill orders through
premier and standard distribution channels.
The individual is self-motivated, creative, and proactive, and able
to work successfully in a fast-paced environment both
collaboratively and individually. The candidate demonstrates an
inherent interest in understanding how the whole system works, and
a strong desire to solution sell to existing and new customers. The
individual documents in detail nearer-term opportunities and what
it will take to close, as well as further out opportunities and
what will be needed to close. The individual has a track record of
hunting, finding, and creating opportunities. Success for the CP
technical salesperson includes delivering target sales numbers
through building strong, trusting relationships with customers

Researches accounts, identifies key players/decision makers
Respectfully assertive in setting meetings with potential
Authentic sales approach providing value to customer
Relentless follow up to ensure high customer satisfaction
Updates leads/opportunities on a weekly basis to help the rest of
the team know what it will take to close the deal.
Effective listener able to help the customer understand system
benefits, and as well receive customer feedback to bring back to
the team for evaluation.
Consultative in nature and a willing teacher
Consistently achieves results, even under tough circumstances.
Excellent in making good and timely decisions that keep the
potential sale moving forward.
Determined both in building a relationship quickly and sustaining
the relationship longer term
BA/BS degree or equivalent, or demonstrated solution selling
experience. Technical solution sales background desired.
Relevant work experience in technical hunter sales/business
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong business problem-solving skills.
Proficient with corporate productivity (MS Word, Excel) and web
Strong listening and presentation skills.
Demonstrated track record of technical sales and closing deals.
Collaborative and works well with others in creative problem
solving and solution selling.
Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively.
