You'll get the opportunity to wrestle with the next big problems in an atmosphere of collaboration and cooperation, sharing your expertise with team members at all levels.We are seeking early career, **cleared or clearable Embedded Software Engineers** in a variety technical disciplines who are self-motivated and energetic with a background in Embedded Systems Design and Software Development.**Essential Functions:**The Embedded Software Engineer will be part of a multi-disciplinary program responsible for architecting, designing, testing, and deploying next-generation, specialized communication and sensing systems critical to US intelligence customers and allies. As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will contribute to system requirements generation, hardware-selection trade studies, embedded software development, and integration and testing of systems. Programs at Northrop Grumman - Xetron are engineering intensive, rapid schedule jobs for diverse SIGINT/EW applications. Focus areas are advanced waveform development, low size, weight and power (low SWaP) processing systems, specialized space communication payloads, and persistent signal surveillance systems. We are pushing the boundaries of wh at is possible in terrestrial, air, and space domains.MSRAD_These positions can be filled at an Associate Engineer or Engineer level._**Basic Qualifications for Associate Engineer level:**+ B.S. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field and 0 years of relevant work experience. NOTE: 4 years of relevant work experience can be substituted for the degree+ US Citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance+ Demonstrated software programming experience in C, C++, and embedded assembly languages (e.g. ARM, STM32, MSP430)+ Experience with embedded systems debugging and system analysis tools (e.g. JTAG emulators, remote GDB servers, USB or benchtop logic analyzers)+ Experience with embedded systems development environments such as Xilinx SDK, TI Code Composer Studio, IAR Embedded Workbench, and the GNU compiler collection (GCC) and associated tools+ Demonstrated experience with embedded commun ications protocols such as SPI, I2C, RS-232, CAN, SpaceWire, and MIL-STD-1553B**Basic Qualifications for Engineer level:**+ B.S. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field and 2 years of relevant work experience OR M.S. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering and 0 years of relevant work experience. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.Salary Range: $60,800.00 - $91,200.00Salary Range 2: $74,240.00 - $111,360.00Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
