ASoftware Engineer II at Honeywell Intelligrated is passionate about automatedcontrol systems, a self-motivated professional, and strives to be at theleading edge of control system technology. Honeywell IntelligratedSoftware Engineer will be a software team leader and mentor some of the bestand brightest in our industry while driving the technological choices behindcomplex automated control systems. You will be part of a group of highlycommitted professionals who provide expertise and ensure the success ofengineering projects.Key Responsibilities:Execute projects independently and mentors Software Engineers.Design, engineer, and execute industry leading projects from start to finish.Develop complete and concise system Description of Operation (DOO), test plans and user guides.Interface with industry leading customers.Integrate cutting edge bar code reading technology to track and sort cases.Deliver successful material handling solutions to the customer by developing and implementing detailed commissioning plans.Attends all project related turnover meetings, functional design reviews and team meetings.Meets scope, budget, and schedule for the assigned projects.Maintains and tracks issues list, reporting to Supervisor / Manager as required.Performs code reviews.Completes all in-house testing and emulation.Provides site/field reports daily, including progress, issues, and next steps, as requested.Ability to travel up to 40%, work may include nights and weekendsYOU MUST HAVEBachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer ScienceAt least 2 years of experience with object oriented languages (C++, C#, & Java) and 'C'At least 2 years of Microsoft Office experience (Word, Excel, Office 365, etc.)At least 2 years of automation programmingAt least 1 year of experience with Fieldbus (Profibus, EthernetIP, ControlNet etc.)At least 1 year of experience with SQLAt least 1 year of experience evaluating electrical prints and defining control device requirementsA valid driver's licenseWE VALUEAbility to code in multiple languagesBasic PLC Knowledge (Siemens & Allen Bradley)Ability to mentor and lead other Software EngineersAbility to influence cross-functional teams to deliver optimal solutionsClearly and concisely convey subtle or complex messages to a non-technical audienceCapability to follow guidelines and ensure efficiency on given project tasksExcellent computer literacyAbility to focus on essential information and identify key detailsAbility to quickly analyze, incorporate and apply latest information and conceptsIndividuals who are self-motivated and able to work without supervision#INDEED #CBAdditional InformationJOB ID: HRD175513Category: EngineeringLocation: 7901 Innovation Way,Mason,Ohio,45040,United StatesExemptGlobal (ALL)Honeywell is an equal opportunity employer.
