Job Description
The Risk Strategy Business Intelligence Programmer will have a
primary focus of completing code development in SQL, SAS, C#, and
general-purpose language for report requests while providing senior
level assistance.
The Risk Strategy Business Intelligence Team supports the Risk
Strategy and the Control Environment & Quality Assurance testing
teams by providing independent populations to test, and validation
of data obtained from business line contacts including:
--- Complete Report Requests: The Business Intelligence Team
provides data support for the Risk Strategy and the Control
Environment & Quality Assurance testing teams.
Work with the Risk Strategy and the Control Environment & Quality
Assurance testing teams to ensure accurate testing data is obtained
to develop population queries and provide population workbook.
--- Data Validation: The Business Intelligence Team performs
validation of data obtained externally and provides feedback on
accuracy of testing population and ADHOC reports gathered from
business lines and other data groups within the Bank.
--- General Data Support: The Business Intelligence Team supports
Risk Strategy and the Control Environment & Quality Assurance
testing and management with data support including ADHOC requests,
data mining, waterfall-based reporting, Excel assistance, systems
assistance, and other data needs.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
Typically, more than five years of applicable experience
Preferred Skills/Experience
Requires five years of experience in a business reporting,
analytics, or technology environment.
Requires advanced report writer and strong SQL coding skills
Experience with SSIS, SSRS, Visual Studio and Tableau
Experience with SharePoint, HTML and C#
Knowledge of systems and software development
Strong problem-solving and communication skills required
Advanced level of presentation (verbal/written) and relationship
building skills.
Comfortable working in a team environment with layers of required
review/approval.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with large
workloads
Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Office advanced)
Strong process facilitation, project management, and analytical
skills
Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software
packages, including Microsoft Office applications and word
processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentations

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location,
which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ
based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, US Bank
offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and
recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401k contribution and
pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay
Range: $92,650.00 - $109,000.00 - $119,900.00
