Job Description:

TEKsystems is seeking a Cable Technician to support work at a local data center. This position is for a NIGHT SHIFT, working 9pm-5am Sunday night - Thursday night.
*Job Duties will include:*

• Equipment installation, grounding, labeling, and removal/migration work.
• Cable installation, mining, identifying, labeling, and testing.
• Auditing and testing power, copper, and fiber cabling.
• Logging all power cabling in a Google doc for inventory up keep
• Separating, labelling, and organizing power cables by length and connector type
• Clearing, counting, and logging racks as needed
  *Requirements*
  
  • Ability to work night shift (9pm-5am, Sunday-Thursday night)
  • Experience working with copper and fiber cabling
  • Skilled and knowledgeable in DC powered equipment and knowledgeable in test, trace, and extend circuits.
