Republic Services, Inc., a leader in the U.S. non-hazardous solid waste and recycling industry, is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Driver CDL B to join our team. In this position, you will operate Republic’s iconic blue trucks, providing essential collection, transfer, and disposal services that keep our communities clean and green. Your role is vital in ensuring that operations run smoothly and customer satisfaction is maintained at the highest level. Safely operate a heavy or commercial-grade truck to perform assigned duties on designated routes. Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections of equipment and maintain cleanliness of vehicle. Adhere to weight limits and ensure proper utilization of Company equipment. Work with dispatchers and team members to communicate customer impediments or safety hazards. Coordinate with the logistics team to improve route efficiencies and identify best practices for waste collection. Engage with customers and the community in a friendly and professional manner.
