environment. What You’ll Be Doing: As the Automation Engineer - GSP
(Global Serialization Program) for Serialization Execution System
(SES) solutions in our Packaging lines, you will be responsible for
the development of new components and qualifying new functionality
into the Global Serialization solutions to assure that sites have
pretested functionality that allows them to implement changes with
shorter lead times. Your key role will involve understanding the
business requirements and seamlessly integrating the SES solutions
into our packaging lines. This will include design and
configuration of the software, troubleshooting technical issues,
conducting system tests, and providing training and documentation
to ensure the efficient and compliant execution of serialization
processes. Your technical expertise and knowledge of SES solutions
will be vital in optimizing our packaging operations, enhancing
product traceability, and ensuring regulatory compliance in
serialization. How You’ll Succeed: You will bring your technical
knowledge and experience to design, develop, implement, enhance,
and maintain Serialization Execution System (SES) solutions,
including Guardian, Sentris, and Advisor, and automation
integration with our Packaging lines, ensuring optimal performance,
reliability, and data accuracy. Must have a strong understanding of
packaging processes and practices that are essential to effectively
collaborate with cross-functional Engineering and packaging teams
and drive continuous improvement in our packaging operations. You
will bring technical leadership to drive Global Serialization
releases to completion. You must have a combination of technical
and soft skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional
teams. Must conduct testing, troubleshooting, and ongoing
maintenance of the test line to ensure system reliability and
accuracy of data. Must ensure documented processes and procedures
are in place for all activities to meet quality and compliance
standards. Must develop a deep understanding of the Serialization
solutions deployed to meet Lilly’s global serialization strategy
for packaging. Experience with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
and Computer System Validation (CSV) regulations, will be vital in
ensuring documented processes and procedures meet the highest
quality and compliance standards. Must have Strong Analytical and
Problem-solving skills are required to identify and address issues,
optimize system performance, and enhance packaging efficiency. Must
have excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with
team members, stakeholders, and vendors, ensuring clear and concise
communication of technical concepts and requirements. What You

such as GS1 and FDA DSCSA regulations, System integration with
enterprise resource planning (ERP, SAP), and manufacturing
execution systems (MES) Knowledge of packaging equipment and
machine vision technologies including image analysis and inspection
experience interfacing with vision hardware components and
familiarity with connectivity protocols Knowledge of the Systech
Serialization solution Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in
engineering, science or technical related area 1 years experience
in automation, or software, specifically related to integrating
packaging processes and equipment 2 years experience in GMPs and
computer systems validation (CSV) Additional Information: Must be
able to travel up to 25% of the time, US and international Will
require occasional work in a variety of manufacturing environments;
some safety equipment and/or gowning may be required This is NOT a

on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic
location. The anticipated wage for this position is $64,500 -
$167,200 Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a
company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual
performance). In addition, Lilly offers a comprehensive benefit
program to eligible employees, including eligibility to participate
in a company-sponsored 401(k); pension; vacation benefits;
eligibility for medical, dental, vision and prescription drug
